There is nothing like the perfect spring day, especially when it is spent collaborating an inspirational shoot in a blossoming apple orchard with a talented group of individuals. Thompson’s Orchard in New Gloucester provides the backdrop for this fictional spring time wedding captured through the camera of Emily Delamater. Allow me to transport you there. The fragrant air is filled with romance and the buzzing of bees as they collect their pollen for this year’s honey crop.

The blossom canopied tablescape, created by daisies & pearls on hanging salvaged shutters, is rich in color with bold MacKenzie-Childs floral enamelware and gold accents. Egg cups of gold are filled with blue bells and violets atop a mound of green moss. Drawing from the apple theme, gold dipped flower frogs display escort cards and table name, designed by Parrott Design Studio. Spring branches shaped in hearts adorn the back of each chair. Climbing up the tree is an orchard ladder with hanging twine orbs which hold green moss and spring blooms.

Gold letterpress garnished with watercolor apple blossoms, also designed and crafted by Parrott Design Studio, invite guests to this alfresco fete. Wedding bands are nestled on a bed of moss perched in an antique birdcage.

The dessert display of scrumptious homemade country favorites by Nothing Bakes Like a Parrott is arranged in apple crates. Cakes sweetly decorated with floral accents are posed on a gold vanity.

The spring time bride dressed in lace holds a bright, fragrant bouquet of seasonal homegrown native stems wrapped in lace created by daisies & pearls. Her dress is accessorized with vintage pieces styled by Ornamental Habit. Two Clydesdales join the bride in the field to add to this stunning bucolic scene.
Thank you to all the team members who made this day truly perfect in every way.
