Moving right along, you should now have your mission statement written and your overall theme determined. It is time to make your vision reality and the first reality checkpoint is finding the perfect setting for your special day. The ceremony and reception venue should obviously compliment your theme and fit your mission statement. If your theme is “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”, your guests may be confused to receive an invitation asking for their presence at a ski lodge in mid February. The key is to stay true to your vision, while of course keeping the other major factors in mind such as budget and guest list. This may require some creative thinking outside the box because essentially any location can be transformed, such as this lovely wedding.
Here are some ideas:
If you and your beloved want an outdoor wedding but are nervous of rain clouds, why not bring the outside in? Photo captured by Mira Lukavaya.
If you and your beloved are dreaming of a hometown wedding, why leave home? Photos captured by & Unlimited.
If you and your beloved are after a chic urban affair, why not take the public transportation route? Photos captured by Christine Farah.
If you and your beloved are pining for an ocean side union but oceanfront property is over budget, why not bring the party to the ocean? Photos captured by Max Wanger.
As any wedding planner would advise you, make sure to ask the appropriate questions before signing the contract. It would be a shame if your wine infused theme could only serve white wine because your venue does not allow red wine as a precaution of the white marble floor.
